XGN15-12 type switchgear is an ideal metal enclosed air-insulated RMU distribution switchgear. Equipped with SF6 insulated 2-poisition or 3-poisition load break switch, it can be applied in distribution system of 12kV, acting as RMU or terminal distribution switch for breaking and making load current or making fault current. Enclosure and all compartments were assembled with Al-Zn alloyed steel which have been processed on numerical controlled machines, thus the assembled switchgear can ensure consistency of the dimension and have many perfect characteristics, such as high precision, orderliness, good looking. Enclosure door was made of steel sheet that was processed with double bended, and painted with epoxy. So it’s corrupter proof and impaction resistance. For saving the space of distribution room, switchgear can be operated and maintained from the front side, which cabinets can be installed near the wall. According to main elements, RMU switchgear can be divided into two types for different application, load break switchgear and LBS-fuse combined switchgear. In another point of view, the switchgear can be divided into up unit and bottom unit, which were isolated by load break switch, thus it seems more comfortable and easily to maintain or change the different unit at site.
